ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Merel Langstraat, an artist based in the Netherlands working with spatial and interactive experiences, through immersive mediums. My work is deeply personal, shaped by dreams, memories, and moments I want to hold onto or understand more deeply.

With a background in photography, I learned how to frame emotion through stillness. That sensibility now extends into environments where image, sound, and movement come together, inviting visitors to step inside and experience the work from within.

Even if you’ve never tried VR or immersive art before, my goal is to create spaces that anyone can connect with and feel a part of.
